EK-11 Your Ideal Client Profile
Today our question has to do with thinking about your client.
And specifically I would like you to think first of your ideal client. Create a definition of what your ideal client, looks like.
And this doesn’t need to be the only client you ever work with, in fact you can think of it as a preset on a radio station. You may for example do some work with retirees, you may do work with busy business professionals, you may do work with business owners, you may have a niche where you service accountants or architects or the financial services industry or whatever it is that is going to be a preset on your radio dial.
Spend a little time thinking about the obstacles that your clients face. Initially whether or not you can solve them. It’s a really good brain storming exercises to go through and think about all of the obstacles that they face and the outcomes that they are looking to achieve. In fact one of the things I am going to suggest to you, in our members area we have an obstacles and outcomes exercise that will help you get very clear on one Ideal client profile, one of your presets and take you through a specific exercise that will challenge you to find 25 or 30 important outcomes that they are looking to achieve and 25 or 30 different obstacles they are facing along the way.
One of the things you will find once you have gone through this exercise is the quality of conversation you are now able to have, your ability to join the conversation that is going on the mind of our clients or prospects increases by a magnitude of 5 or 6 or 700%!
All of a sudden you are able to project yourself as an expert, really as a guru in that particular market niche and it’s going to make all the difference in the communication you are having with your clients.
In fact one of the strategic unconscious rapport formulas is mastering the ability to join the conversation that is going on in the mind of your client. And this is one of the key exercises in accelerating your ability to do that.
I hope you take advantage of that; the exercise is available for you in the member site. If you are not a member yet? You can sign up for one of our very inexpensive test drive opportunities or one of our nearly free download opportunities we have there and jump in and see if it doesn’t make a huge impact on the results you are able to achieve.
Thanks for tuning in!
