How do I overcome the recurring “X” objection?

If you’re getting objections over and over again it may be a perceived shortcoming or a limiting belief that you are projecting out into the world and manifesting.

Today’s question doesn’t come to us from any one individual because this truly is one of the most frequent questions that we hear, its:

How do I get over the X (objection)?

And by X I mean, insert your objection here. I mean we all seem to have one or two objections that really seem to baffle us.

And what I want to do today is take some time on what on objection is. And what you should do if you are hearing the same one over and over and over again. For example Financial Advisors that I do a lot of work with, very often when they are new in the business get the objection that they do not have enough experience. And what they find is as they along their career, suddenly there is enough confidence in themselves and their practice that they are no longer projection that insecurity.

And what do you think happens to that objection? Magically disappears!

So here is a couple of things that are going on with objections:

  1. If you are getting an objection the same one over and over again, probably what you are doing is actually projecting what you see to be as a shortcoming of your offering and getting that reflected back to you for your clients or prospects.

So the very first thing that you want to do is, if that is coming up over and over again examine what might be an internal mindset or a limiting belief that you are experiencing as a sales person that you could be projecting out into the world.

  1. Recognize that objections in any form are typically requests for some additional information or a perception in the mind of your prospect or client that this isn’t going to be a good fit for what they are looking to do going forward.

So we are going to talk a lot of objections in future Frequently Asked Questions series. For today what I would like you to do is, if you are getting objections over and over again it is my suspicion that may be a perceived shortcoming or a limiting belief that you are projecting out into the world and manifesting.
